Windows Utilities / Updated Emplode

Windows Utilities / Updated Emplode - 13/02/2002 18:05

Hi,

I am getting the Empeg buzz and want to contribute, but I'm not a linux programmer!

I've done lots with Windows/MP3 so maybe I could put together some software for managing music archives on the computer.

I know we have Emplode, but if there is a demand for somthing with more features, then I'd be willing to put some effort into it!

Call it my contribution back....

Anyone with ideas/wish list, please post here...

Thanks,

Your energy would best be spent helping the JEmplode project. It is an Emplode replacement written in Java. Its advantage is that it can run on platforms that Emplode can't, such as Macintosh.

It already has some features that Emplode does not have, and it's being extended and improved all the time.

We always welcome outside support -- We've had a handful of people help out with the project and it's great to see. If you're interested, drop me an email -- there's always work to be done. I've been in hiding for the past couple weeks with my (god forbid ) paying job, but I'm trying to get my act together to get the next "official release" out soon.

A utillity to browse through a file-backup from the empeg-player, that is, correlate FID-files with proper filenames (*.mp3) and proper ID3-tags.
