TA toggle (Hijack feature wish) - 20/02/2002 02:51

Hello,

is it possible to add as a further option for knob redefinition the functionality to turn TA (traffic announcement) on or off (according to its actual status). It would be nice if one could toggel TA without having to change to tuner mode and navigate through the menus.

I don't know if this could be accomplished without to much effort?

You don't actually have to change to the tuner - this can be done from the player. If memory serves, there's an option in the Settings menu to turn TA on and off.

Mind you, I'd agree that it would be nice to be able to do this in just a couple of presses, rather than having to use the menus.

Bryan.

This should be doable as a macro under hijack. Shouldn't it? Just send multiple keypresses. Not sure about doing it from a popup menu.

I bet Mark gets it done within minutes of getting back on board.

I'll pass on this one -- but you can implement it with a Hijack button macro, using the SHIFT (.S) functionality to introduce a toggle if needed.
