Tone generator?

Tone generator? - 14/03/2002 20:10

Any hijack hackers listening? Feature request coming.............

I'd love to have a tone generator that's selectable from the menu. For example, I could have my empeg put out a 0dB 1Khz tone so I can adjust the gains on my amps.

There's already (userland) linux source available: http://www.lns.com/papers/tonegen/tonegen.c It's probably just a matter of calling it from hijack. I admit I'm too [lazy/unfamiliar with hijack] to do it myself, but if there are any bored programmers reading, this would be a great feature!! :-) :-) :-)

For that matter, there's an in-kernel tone generator already on the player. Just need a menu entry (or button) to trigger one.
