jemplode autoupdate - 08/05/2002 17:58

Hi.

First off: I really should go to bed. It's 2:54 in the morning now.

Regarding the subject:
I noticed that jemplode checks for updates (for both jemplode and hijack) only after a player has been selected. But I think that it should check for jemplode updates at the very start of the program.
Also, I have a problem accessing my backup/development unit (MkIIa) using jemplode. I will report any details as soon as I find any. Currently, it hangs at "checking media".

I agree. In fact, I was just trying to see which version I was running (of jemplode) and couldn't because my Empeg was in my car. It seems that ALL menu items (even the Help items) are greyed out if there's no player...
It'd be beneficial to leave some active.

Ah... that explains why I couldn't read up on the download function .. I didn't have a player connected. Tony - thanks for helping me and know that I DID try looking it up myself!

Actually, I have never seen the help menu items enabled, player connected or not. I couldn't even select the "About" item.

I suppose if I ever wrote any help documentation, then help would be enabled

D'oh! That would be a real good reason.
So, how DOES one tell what version that one is running, then? :>

The release number should be in the titlebar of the Frame ...
