Help with XML - 11/07/2002 14:02

Whenever I go to the playlists option in the XML proggie, I get this: EEEEEE FFFFFF ?fid=&ext=.m3u ?NODATA&SERIAL=%23
Any ideas? everything else works fine.

btw, when I do a rwm, I get an error stating:
mount: can't find /drive1 in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

is this related, perhaps?

Do you have a single or dual drive empeg?

If dual drive, you might want to add a line to /etc/fstab about /drive1. Pattern it off the /drive0 line, but replace "hda" with "hdc".

Otherwise I believe, from what I remember of the rwm script, the message is harmless / expected.

Yeah, the stock install doesn't have a line about /drive1 in /etc/fstab. Not sure why.

Why do I never get an error message when I do RWM on my dual-drive player then?

Because it looks in /proc/mounts first. It's only if you've managed to completely unmount the disk that rwm will fail to remount it read-write.

I got that until I applied MSXML3SP2setup.exe - the second service pack to XML3 (assuming you've got a windows box). HTH.

Thanks all.. I was thinking about editing the fstab, but I'm not quite that confident in Linux yet. (Wasn't sure exactly what would happen) Getting there, but not quite.

And oops on the parser, for some reason I skimmed right over that.
