c't reviews Rio Car - 11/08/2001 04:55
Hi all,
c't, one of the biggest (and one can objectively say, one of the best) German computer magazines did a review of 9 MP3 car audio systems, including the Rio car.
In terms of quality, Rio car had full scores everywhere, except for the handbook. They were criticizing a few other things (one of them was of course the high price), read the current issue of the c't for more.

I can scan them in, don't know if I'll get in trouble for copyright violation though. :) The full article is otherwise not available on the net.
Also note that this is in German only.

Article is here: http://mups.yi.org/empeg/page_01.htm, it's in german of course, but there are some pictures :-)
Best handling in test, expensive, buttons not lit, no downloading from unit.

Hi.
I noticed quite a few flaws in the review of the rio car player, like the number of preset of the equalizer (they said: 1, I would say: 16), the inaccurate quote about the number of bands of the equalizer etc.
I guess I have to write an email to them.

Hmm.. Maybe it would have helped if they had a remote and read the manual?
