System Noise

Further to my dilema....Somehow the ground loop alternator whine went away, but it is still very much there when I play via the radio module. The antenna is powered, and raises every time I turn the system on. But since I get no noise via the player I have to assume that I am picking up some noise through the radio module or the radio outputs on the player.

This sounds vey odd, so I bought one of the Crutchfield antenna noise supressors. Still have to install it, but was just curious if anybody else had this problem.
