MKII Install in a Kia Rio ?

Anyone ever installed a Empeg into a Kia? Just wondering if there are any issues I should be made aware of..

I had a clarion deck installed and I think there may be an issue concerning which 12v line they tap into for power.. I belive I may be having some electrical problems becasue they tapped in to the 12v line running to the ECU (Which seems to be having problems recently)

Anyone else run into any similar issues?

That your stereo will be more valuable than the car?

Are you installing it alone or in conjuction with the factory head unit ?

Nope just the Empeg Unit! But I'm kinda worried that just some run of the mill radio installer may botch it up, or wire it uncorrectly..

Why do you have to tap into a wire for the enpeg power isn't there a harness adaptor for that car ? For the amp power you should got directly to the battery and to the car frame for ground.

Ah, I had my local audio installer put in my empeg, Alpine head unit, source switcher, and amp. He did a real good job, wiring everything correctly, right down to the dimmer wire thing.
