empeg Getting a New Home / Install Advice?

So, because of this:



... my empeg is getting a new home:



It's a 1985 Mercedes Benz 500 SEL, the European version (so most of the labels are in German...woo!). Has anyone put an empeg in one of these yet? Or perhaps a similar w126 chassis? Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sucks about your old car but NICE replacement! I'd recommend checking out the forums at Benzworld.org and MBWorld.org for install information. They have chassis-specific forums and general audio forums.

Thanks! We're quite happy with it so far. It made the trip from Indianapolis (where we bought it) to Denver with no problems whatsoever, cruising at 85-90+ the whole time. Doesn't exactly hate gas, but then... It doesn't hurt that it was almost an even exchange, insurance payout from the old car to price of the new one. So it's like our car magically transformed to something new.
