Newbie Installation Question

Ok guys I got a very basic question.. my friend and I are attempting to install an amp and the Empeg in my 95 Honda Civic.. we got the amp all wired and mounted in my trunk.. my question is do we have to run wires directly from the speakers to the amp.. because I don't see a connection on the harness to connect the speakers to anything..

Hopefully that question makes sense and someone can offer some advice..

you should run the pre amp outputs from the empeg to the amp the connect the speaker outputs on the amp to the speakers

One way you could do it is in the attached graphic file.
