MK1 RCA seperate ground adaptor? - 24/02/2002 20:31

Among other ridiculously stupid things they did, the shop that previously installed my MK1 threw away the special floating ground "adaptors" which came with my empeg. Needless to say, I will be doing my empeg install myself this time!

Is there a place where I can get these cables? Will it suffice to simply craft them by cutting RCA Y-splitters?

Yes, you can easily make your own floating ground adapters. All it does is connect the RCA cables' shields to a ground wire. Go for it.

No! Don't make your own! Email David and ask him to send you a set. We're never going to get rid of all the spares at this rate
