Timecode display - small wish - 17/10/2002 06:04
IWBNI the "1/Time" button on the remote would only chang the timecode setting when the timecode is visible.
If the timecode is not visible (Info:Off or Info:Transient), pop up the timecode without changing it, and if Time is pressed again while it's visible, then change it.
This is consistent with the UI for other gadgets (e.g. my home stereo's sleep-timer works like this) and is useful in the common case where you want to look at the timecode without changing it (otherwise it's seven presses to cycle round, or two long-presses on the front panel).
