I have a wish.
Hopefully it wouldn't be to much to implement it into Emplode 2.0.
How about some extra categories in Emplode?
Specifically one for the genre. A column for bitrate would also be nice.

v2.0, which we're trying to get out of the door as quickly as possible, so Rob's estimate of 4-6 weeks isn't unrealistic, has the following columns available:
- Title
- Artist
- Position within playlist
- Album
- Year
- Genre
- Duration
- Average Bitrate
- Samplerate
- Marked for attention?
- Drive?
- Times played
- Last played
- Times skipped
- Creation time
- Comments
- Codec
- Track number
- Offset (from the start of the file to the MP3 data)
- FID
- Refs (how many playlists is this item in?)
If the tags are available, it's simple for us to add columns to display them.

Seeing Roger's post reminded me of a BBS wishlist:
Could we have a FAQ entry for "What features have been promised, and which release are they likely to be in?"?
That would save wasting time in the Wishlist forum discussing ideas that have already been done...

Somebody did a thread that attempted to round up the features that we'd said would be in v2.0 (or v1.1 as it was known back then). Anybody have that reference?
Wouldn't have helped in this case, 'cos this is the first time the full list of columns has been published.
On the other hand, if anyone wants other columns added, ask away. If they're good suggestions, we'll code 'em up.

2.0 is feature frozen - it'll never get released otherwise. Therefore you may as well wait for the Beta before posting your suggestions for 3.0

VR isn't scheduled for any particular release - it's an independent project, which can be integrated into whatever the current build happens to be.
