I don't have an empeg and I'm not on the list to get one but I am very interested in the product. From what I read, this feature is missing. Should this feature be implemented I would definitely jump all over the empeg.
My wish item is for the empeg to have an input/output switch for pre-outs. This would be useful for cars using external amplifiers but have a head unit without an aux input. The empeg will switch head unit <-> empeg.
This can also work for factory head units, as well. Though I have not installed it yet, I have the harnesses and converter to take the outputs from the stock Infinity head unit in my Mitsu Eclipse and give me RCA outputs. Theoretically, these outputs go into the empeg's switch. And the empeg's output goes to the amps.
