Annoying reseting of "All Track" list in emplode - 14/05/2002 22:51

I read the FAQ and tried searching the BBS but couldn't come across any ideas on how to fix this problem in emplode v2.11 beta. Whenever I use the all track list and drag a song into a playlist, the "all track" list resets itself and goes all the way back up to the top of the list, effectivley losing my current position. I'm not sure if this was the intended design of the software but it seems to me it would be much better to save my place and not reset itself.

Is there any way to make the list stay in its place so i wont have to keep on dragging down the scrollbar to find my place again? I'm not sure if this is a beta problem. What do you guys think about this "flaw"?

Yeah, it is a bit of a pain when you have thousands of tracks.
I tend to go down the list using Page Down and just counting presses, so when it goes back to the top after a drag/drop I just hit Page Down that many times.

Still annoying though

Found out why it does it. It's not easy to fix, though. Or, more accurately, I can fix it, but it'll break several other things.

I don't have the time right now to implement a proper fix, sorry...

It definately is something I noticed aswell. If you are dragging songs to just one playlist, then you can just hold down CTRL and keep selecting songs without it resetting, and then drag them all at once. Not the best solution though. Ideally it would act like Windows Explorer.

Fair enough
I have my workaround anyway, and doing what FOX does works for multiple drags to one playlist so that's okay.

I hope this is something that will be fixed by the 2.0 release though.

Nope.
