The delay on this is, I believe, due to the linux-usb people ripping everything up and re-doing it in a way more akin to the windows method of irp's. John thinks that when this has been done, getting it to talk to the empeg will be a doddle. As-is, it requires major hackery and falls over on a lot of hardware.
