Pause display after reboot?

I got back yesterday from my 1000 mile car trip (thank god for my empeg) and noticed one thing that I can't remeber having heard about...

When you pause the player, the pause symbol is displayed in the corner while it's paused. If you turn off the car or pull it out and plug it back in again, the player stays paused, but the pause icon isn't on the screen any more. Pretty minor, but inconsitent...

I think that's on the internal bug list actually, and has been there for quite a long time if I recall.

Yup, 1729 and 1744.

Would 1729 be the pause icon and 1744 be the tuner's mute icon by any chance?

No, they're just two duplicate entries for the same bug.

OK, then the mute icon also doesn't show up when you power up. I think..... I know that happened in 2b7. I will double check after work.

Scratch that. The tuner mute icon doesn't show up, but it doesn't start the tuner muted. In other words... if the tuner is muted on shut down, it it unmuted when you start the car.
