glitches after upload

I seem to be having problems with glitches in the song when using the serial transfer mode. I have run 115K and 230k speeds and the files are fine on my host machine (K6-233/64Mb CTX EasyBook 800). USB will not properly intrerrogate the unit. I have beta 6 on the empeg unit and beta 5 of Emplode, and have used other host machines with the same results.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Beta 5 did have various problems with downloading - particularly over serial. Many bugs were fixed at the emplode end in both beta5c and beta6.

In general you should always run the same beta release of emplode and empeg-car software. Little, if any, testing is done with non-matching versions. This may actually be enforced in future versions.
