Can't Mark Tracks

I've been trying to mark tracks with my Rio remote for a few weeks and I get no feedback on the display (nor do tracks show up in emplode searches). I at first thought the remote was dying, but all other functiions work fine.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? Could it be something in config.ini or the "dissable Kenwood remotes" thing?

You just press the cancel button once! I thought I had to hold it down.

You can also use the 4 key, or I think you can do it from the Bookmarks menu. If neither of those work, then that is truly odd and I'd look to see where the problem is.

No.

Note that on the Rio remote, "hold" is indicated by the printing being in italic lettering. Non-italic commands are regular presses.
