Error upgrading to Beta 11

Error upgrading to Beta 11 - 24/06/2000 13:22

It has no trouble finding the Empeg on Com1, programming the flash, etc. Then it says "Finding pump (preparing first hard disk) and does what appears to be a long timeout. After the timeout, I get "Bad pump response to device select occurred during stage 0x20".

Any hints?

Unpugging the power and only applying power after the Upgrader software asked me to allowed it to find the pump.

I thought it was OK to leave the Empeg plugged in when we upgraded. I thought that was something that had been implemented in recent builds.

In fact, didn't EmpegUpgrade used to warn us to unplug the power and now it doesn't any more? I'm confused.

Then again, I'm always confused.
