Win2K USB problem upgrading from v1 to v1.1 - 17/10/2000 13:12

I have Win2K installed on my machine and I was running v1.0 of empeg software, connecting with USB, and everything was working great. I upgraded the drive and emplode to v1.1. During this my empeg was connected to my machine through USB (apparently this is not good). The software looked like it installed correctly, but now I can't connect to my empeg through USB. Windows saays that it can't find a suitable driver for the empeg. The empeg is the only USB device I have connected. I've tried uninstalling everything, and reinstalling without having the empeg connected with USB. I emailed support and they said everything would be OK if I unplugged, and replugged my empeg's USB connection. This didn't work. Has this situation happened to anyone else, any suggestions on how to solve it? Also, my empeg doesn't turn off when I kill the ignition in my car (it used to)!

Thanks
CT

UPDATE:

Installing software for the Mark 1 on a Mark 2 yields odd results.

I'm a jackass!

Thanks

Heh. I'll update my FAQ entry to include the fact that USB dies as well as ethernet in this case.

I see I am not the only one who rushed to http://www.empeg.com/ here ...
