Clock visuals truncated - 24/12/2001 18:40

Haven't seen anyone else post this so thought I'd better. The clock visuals are truncated at each end. Anyone else notice this?

Mine aren't. Then again, I'm set to a 12-hour clock and haven't looked at it when the numbers are at their widest....

Yeah, mine's ok now It's past midnight. Can you try it out in 24hr mode and see if you get the same symptoms.

I noticed truncated clock in 2.0b3 but never remembered to complain about it here. Tends to happen when the hour is 2 digit (10 and above.) Only in certain clock modes, like it probably doesn't happen in Clock Zoom.

I think we should have a Clock: Snow visual too.

In 12 hour mode it should be OK. The digits should touch each edge of the screen when using all four digits. The first digit (of 4) can only be a 1 in this mode.

There is definitely not enough width available to show 4 wider digits (such as 20:20 or 22:55) - not unless the digits are scaled down.

I've definitely seen at least one clock info mode that had problems even though it was a "1" in the first position. Like maybe 15:30 or something like that.

Just give us access to the internal bug list, damn it!

(I know... Standard dry British humor response: "But then it wouldn't be internal!")
