Anyone else notice the names of the visuals repeating a few times in the Favourite Visuals picker window in emplode?

Wait'll you see what it does to your config.ini file the first time you sync..

It just added a bunch of headers and count=0 items. I didn't use the dialog to choose any visuals. I'll just edit the file manually when it comes time for it.

I didn't have any problems with it munging my config.ini. Maybe my ir_translate and hijack sections at the end helped out.

I had the same problem because to do that in Beta7 , you had to manually.

For now, delete all favorites from the Tools menu in Emplode and recreate the list from the same menu in Emplode and all will go fine.

My config.ini wass also polluted with strange caraters.

Every thing is fine after all that.

After that I tried to einsert my list manualy and after the 1st sync I quit Emplode nd relaunched, look the config.ini was like before my paste and was the list done from the tools Menu.

I repasted my list and sync a second time and I had 3 visuals more in my list.

I would say that for now to use the Tools Menu ...

I think this is from the code of it now having its own menu. I have updated the FAQ on this subject, please read and let me know if its suggested solution works for you.

You're going to make me search the FAQ? No direct link with anchor? I feel cheated.

It seems to be working now. But it was an error in the picker, not in the config file. Only the picker section (the "available" list on the left) was showing dupes - which I found strange.

I was in an extreme hurry. I am falling behind on the BBS and various parts of real life are preventing me from keeping up. I the last 24 hours I have only been able to go through the Bug Reports forum and make one post to Off Topic. I didn't get much sleep last night either

Yes, also notice that vis 'snakes' does not show up in 'AM' or 'FM' lists.

Hmmm.. my Mk2a config.ini was really a mess, however my Mk2 config.ini didn't change & they both run exactly the same versions of software & Hijack.

No, the old one being fed up

Note that this AI (or rather, its avatar) works as a network admin (with 'fire brigade' duties), is married (with kids, IIRC), plays guitar (taking part in filk gatherings included), snowboards, participates in LAN parties... I absolutely and positively know this cannot be crammed into 24 hours (and I didn't mention sleep).
