Hi folks,

sitting here at work with the player (MK2a, (my new spare) 200b11/hijack200) on AC. Player is in standby, serial and ethernet hooked on. Suddenly it begins to play where i set it to standby yesterday. (i can't use it in the car at the moment) I didn't touch it for sure and here is no remote in the room...
Anybody had seen the same?

edit: it happend once again, so i remove serial and ethernet and wait....

Someone at your work found its root web page on the network. You're being hacked.

Investigate further the options in Hijack to see how to deactivate or secure its web-and-ftp-enabled features.

It happened again over the weekend, serial and ethernet disconnected. There was noone in here and this morning the player was playing for several hours according to the position in the playlist...

On what kind of signals does the IR react? Any? Or just valid codes from a remote?
To sort it out, i covered the IR-receiver and will wait again...

Exactly the same thing is happening to a friend's unit. Do you have a cat? He hasn't completely eliminated Lottie and Tish from his enquiries...

Sorry, no animals...
The player is sitting at work on my desk, and there were defenitely no people in here over the weekend.
I have covered the IR-receiver for 3 days now and it didn't happen yet, so it is perhaps an infrared-cource somewhere, to which the player reacts...
What type of IR-signals does the player react to???
