2.0b11 slowdown/lockup (new?)

I ran into this one a while back but have forgotten to report it until now. Wanted to see if anyone else can confirm. It involves the tuner mode. I'm using 2.0b11, Hijack 240-something.

Steps to repeat:

1. Switch to the tuner.
2. Push the search button to pop up the "Frequency" dialog.
3. Push it again.
4. Your Empeg is now really slow. Can't remember if it actually locks up or just slows down a lot and things become unresponsive. Only way to recover for me was to reboot.

Can anyone confirm or am I alone on this one?

Mmm.. not a total lockup (Source, Tuner, and Vol Up/Down still work), but apart from that, most other stuff is frozen. Cool.

I just put this one on the internal bug list. Seems pretty serious.

Is it dumping a bunch of stuff to the serial port, is that why it slows?

Nothing there on mine (latest beta here).

Damn, I wish I had remembered to post this when I first saw it a month or three ago. It was one of those "hey doc, it hurts when I do this -- well then don't do that" bugs. I don't want this one to delay 2.0 final or anything like that. Next time I'll keep my mouth shut.
