Just a quick tip for cutting the screws shorter. Thread a nut onto the screw first, past where you are going to cut it. Otherwise the cut end of the screw may be hard to start into the tapped sled. By removing the nut after the thread is cut, you will fix any damaged threads on the end of the screw.
