Once that volume-adjusting kernal is installed, is there an option to disable/enable it?

I can just see myself in an IASCA competition in the sound linearity test, where the same track is recorded three times, once at -12db, once at 0db, and once at +12db, the object being to see if your spectral balance remains unchanged on playback. Imagine the judges faces when all three tracks play back at the same volume!
