The one I need personally is 1251. I've got tons of mp3's with ID3 tags all in russian and empeg displays umlauts and stuff, no cyrillic.

Hugo once said that he might make the font-making tools publicly available. If so, you could draw up a Cyrillic font yourself and copy it onto the player. I think that's all you'd need to do (i.e., no changes to the player code would be required I don't think?).

While we're on this topic, things like umlauts work fine in the player's menus, but not in Toby's InfoTex visuals. Toby, are there any plans to expand the character set for that visual? Its funny to see the screen scrolling "Blue yster Cult".
