I like the Donkykong idea! I'd go with Sony as the victim but thats your call.

As for the other ideas, you would have to be specific in what you want it to say/read. The "spinning up hard drives" would be cool along with animated disc spinning and moving head as if to be reading the spinning disk.

Money is not an issue. It's not like i'm being bobarded with requests or anything, although I'm flattered you are willing to pay. I know i've mentioned it before and I will get it done, I promise, my personal empeg/rio site might have a section on the Ani-Boot page with such a service. Problem is, I would'nt know how to go about doing the service and depending on the content requested, most likley be illigal.
