Not if you want it to be really stable.

In terms of the player crashing while running, seeking, skipping etc, 3.0a7 is very good. I haven't had a crash in a long time. However as Tony says, if you are looking for 100% stable then 2.00final is the option.

Database rebuilds do not work properly, so adding music to the player is an exercise in frustration

3.0a7 rebuilds the DB OK. 3.0a5 was the problem child there.

The emplode 2.10 that's meant to go with alpha3 has some problems and doesn't synch properly. So I think you're supposed to use 2.00.

2.10 certainly has a number of issues. I remeber having some other problem with 2.00 so I use Jemplode instead.
