Yes, that's what I think I'll do.

I was just shocked how bad $800 worth of stuff sounded at the low-end stores. I suppose since it’s in not in a car and tuned that makes a big difference. Being "out of the audio scene" for a good ten years I kind of thought even the cheap stuff would sound good by now. The main complaint I had was that there seemed to be a big hole between where the 6 ˝” cut out and the subs cut in. Seems like the 6 ˝” just didn’t make it down anywhere near the subs. Maybe they set them up that way so they can push people into buying subs. – “See how much better the system sounds since I added the sub.”
