Has anyone signed up for a new account recently with DirecTV and/or called them to add a new/additional receiver to their account? To make it interesting (reply via PM if you'd like) anyone from Canada?

Have a few questions I'd like info on, such as the convenience of calling (long hold for instance?) time to activate, current issues when you don't have a land-line (cell and voip only), already have the some equipment set up from previous owner, etc...
