My Sony DSC-U50 was just stolen by one of my wife's students. What I really loved about the thing was that it had a flip screen. I was able to frame shots even when the camera was held over my head or close to the ground. Some of the pictures I've grabbed that way are great. Because my son is only 1 year old, I was able to shoot pictures from "his perspective" and while in a crowd, I was able to hold the camera up high and still get my shot.

So... the U50 isn't made anymore and $300 on eBay seems like a lot for a camera that doesn't have a zoom and is only 2.0 mega pixels. It appears that Sony doesn't make the line of "U" CyberShot cameras anymore and the closest thing I could find was the Sony DSC-M2. It's cool, but it gets mixed reviews based on ergonomics, prices and features. I guess the price (400) should get you a lot more camera for the money.

Basically, what I need is a simple point-and-shoot camera that has a flip screen... do you guys know of any or recommend any?

(Small size is a plus).
