I did that, still no internet.

Interestingly enough, at GUI level the boxes are checked for "...obtain automatically", but if I run ipconfig/all at a command prompt, it still says DHCP = NO.

Another point of interest -- even if I connect the laptop directly to the router with an ethernet cable, there is no internet.

I am beginning to get frustrated with this.
