I know BMW got the car division and Rolls, but I was pretty certain they didn't get Land Rover (which has always been independent of the car division anyway).

But the Rover and Rolls purchases were not connected. A Land Rover were part of the Rover Group and are therefore now owned by BMW (though possibly not for much longer, if the rumours over a deal with VW are true). BMW are even talking about combining BMW, Rover and Land Rover dealerships here in the UK (they currently have different dealerships for each brand).
