A couple weeks ago I put up a couple posts and they were basically ignored, so Im going to try again. First was, how difficult would it be to add firewire support to the empeg. it has transfer rates orders of magnatude larger than USB (200, 400, or 800 megabits/second depending on installation), is hot swappable, and basically has all the other advantages of USB. Second-how difficult would it be to put the usb/serial/firewire connoctions in the front of the box, so you could take your laptop to the car to download, or allow easy expandability playing tracks off external firewire drives (mactell makes some that are very compact-though i realize thats not totally the prettiest way of doing it.) or a laptop.

I always thought a boot was something you put on your foot.
