In messing with my knew knob ( ), I made a discovery about Hijack behavior that I think is really cool, but I'm not sure if it's been around for a long time or not.

Okay. Hijack lets you redefine the knob-press so that instead of selecting the sound controls, it selects the info mode.

This is cool, and I have had Hijack set to cycle info-modes for me. But in doing so, I always missed being able to get to the Loudness setting by clicking the knob.

I discovered that, even if you have Hijack set to cycle info modes with the knob press, if you press the knob while the volume bar is up, Hijack lets it still switch the sound settings.

So, even if you use hijack for info-switch, you can still get to the sound settings by giving the volume knob a 1-click twist before you press it.

Very cool.
