1) You have a very short "Now and Next" list on the screen (for instance, 1-3 songs on the screen total).

2) You use the "Search by title" feature and scroll to a song.

3) You press CD-MD-CH to switch to "Append" mode, and you press DNPP to append that song.

It successfully appends the song but does not display it on the 'Now and Next' screen. Anything that repaints the 'Now and Next' screen will fix it, such as turning the info screen on/off, pressing >>| or |<<, or whatever.
