Try connecting through the serial port and pressing Ctrl-C when the player starts (after it says something about ``press q''). You should get shot out to a prompt (assuming you've got a developer image installed -- if not, do that first). Then run ``player -i''. This should restart the player app without a playlist. From there, you should be able to connect via emplode and delete the offending file. Or you might just try playing it again to see if that was the culprit, if you think you can break out again. Regardless, power cycle the machine after you're done.
