I was wondering if anybody knew of a way for a userland program to overlay a display over the top of the player when using Hijack and without needing to select it from the menu.

I've tried the Hijack ioctl to refresh the display but that only works if I do bind into the menu and select my program from there. It won't let me just take over the screen.
