I upgraded my player to B13 and and I wanted to update My kernel to v286.

Jemplode tells me that I need to have ethernet to do the Upgrade.
I have V285 installed and I connect to player via Ethernet to JEmplode...

What am I wrong Mike ?

I have this problem too with on one of my PC's with two NIC's. Do you have two NIC installed on this PC?

Music download is working but upgrading the HiJack not.

For upgrading Hijack I am using an other PC.

bye

Jemplode can only upgrade the player via ethernet if Hijack is already installed.

By installing Beta 13, you have erased Hijack.

So, after installing Beta 13, you can only use serial to install Hijack, using the proper kernel-flashing software (such as my logo editor).
