Does anyone have a contact name and address for Complaints, Dell (UK). They've basically stolen £1000 from and won't give it back or send me a PC. Been phoning customer care for 3 weeks so its time to go a stage further.

I have 3 addresses for Dell, but a name always helps.

Thanks

You mentioned you had 3 addresses, here's a 4th:
Dell Computer Corporation
Dell Campus
Bracknell, Berkshire
United Kingdom RG12 1FA
44-1344-860-456
Fax: 44-1344-373-138

My reason for posting this is really the phone no. I'm sure you have a few of those already but I think you really need the number for the main switchboard and not one of those queuing systems.
It's not clear to me from your message what your actual problem is but perhaps you should aim straight for their Customer Relations Dept. or (2nd best) Customer Services.

One other thing you can do is ring the switchboard and ask for the name of the most senior person in the UK (e.g. Country Manager, UK VP, MD or whatever terminology Dell use) and then ask to speak with that person. Ok, you'll only get their PA or the PA's secretary but if you are lucky you can rest assured everyone around that senior person will likely want to put the matter to rest ASAP
I just read that Dell UK is also their EMEA HQ so there will be some pretty senior people there!

If you want to cancel the order and paid by credit card, call the card issuer. They'll refund the money first, then deal with dell on your behalf.

I wish. It was a debit card (switch). They know they have taken the cash, but have now "lost it". This was ordered 3 weeks ago and they still ignore me. Not much I can do if its a debit card, or is there?

The most annoying thing is that if I were to order a PC from dell right now, I'd get a better one for the same money! Aaaagh!

Well, I know my debit card has the same $50 limit as a credit card, with basicaly the same reporting procedure. I'd call your bank and explain that you havn't recived anything and want to cancel the transaction and see what they say at least... It can't hurt.
