So I am looking to add an online poll to my company's web site. Basically like the one on CNN.com, where there is the question, radio buttons, where you can view the results in a nice bar graph and vote only once. Is there a cut and paste code out there to do this? I would prefer it to have no ads, just the poll, nothing else. Anybody have experience in this?

There are many of them. I'd suggest searching Freshmeat for "php poll" or "perl poll" depending on what language you want to use. I've used phpPolls in the past and have been happy with it.

I am trying to implement phpPolls. Is there a step by step you can give based on your experience to set it up on my server? I unzipped the files and uploaded them and I have a lot of files but I do not know where to start to customize it for me. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Follow the instructions in the INSTALL file. There is also a INSTALL_detailed that gives much more detailed instructions, and explains what all the options are, if you need it.
