Heh heh - you just know he'll end up getting arrested. The English justice system don't like vigilantes

There's even a picture of him in action http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/3002999.stm

Apparently he has 217 previous offenses to his name and refuses to speak throughout his police interviews or court appearances - nutter!

At an earlier hearing, a judge told unemployed Roxberry, from Pentwyn, he was likely to be jailed.

Likely to be jailed? Oh my.

The original articles appear to be here and here. Makes a change from the "disgusted" letters you usually see - Tunbridge Wells is the home of whingers in the UK. (apologies to residents on the forum, but you may well agree!) Edit: "Disgusted" was originally a single person writing many letters, but I guess it took off in the town!

She said: "Up to the day I had never experienced the strange phenomenon of what most people refer to as the "good old days".

What the hell is she on about!

I think she means, a time when people didn't crap on each other (metaphorically) as part of daily routine.

It's not like the old days! I remember when you could leave your bike outside your house and no-one would nick it (dons flat cap, pipe and nipple height trousers)....

This thread so far has failed to mention that Tonbridge-Wells is, as well as being the UK capital for wingeing letters, a major retirement centre. To stand in the Pantiles ( the most noted landmark of that town) is like standing in a field of bleating sheep.
Undoubtedly, on this occasion, the writer, being elderly and infirm, was referring to being in: " The good old daze" caused by having been pounced upon by the caped crusader.

Ok, cool update here - the whole thing was a hoax by a mischievous b3ta reader - interview here: http://www.b3ta.com/interview/monkeyman/ links to proof etc. is at the bottom of the page.

Good job - one for the hoaxers hall of fame I think.
