There have also been hints of new toys also. I am hoping for a 3.0b1 also.

My guess, is they will demo pearl, and give everyone 3.0 beta. Hopefully they will pull something out we haven't even thought about yet! and will amaze everyone. And it should go on sale monday. That would be a really nice treat

yep, i think that's the consensus opinion. i wonder if there are additional surprises up their sleeves?

I did all my celebrating on July 1st. Today I'm just relaxing and enjoying lazing about the house.

I have to reboot a pair of servers and hope they actually come back up afterward. Joy.

And I've spent the last several hours trying to salvage my music files from a dying 60gig IBM DeathStar drive.
Currently I'm copying about 3gig worth of files from my XP notebook to my Win98 desktop...Windows says there are 786621 minutes remaining... I guess I can go get dinner now.

I saw it last night at about 8:30PM CDT when I got in the truck after a meeting. So it actually showed up when it was midnight Amersfoort time, very cool...

I just wish I could have gone to the meet. Hopefully the one next year will be as big, and also be during a slightly cheeper airfare time of the year. All the really good deals stopped in June.

I did watch the decent Colorado Springs fireworks display tonight. Glad to see that our state wasn't on fire this year, as the fire mess last year caused the fireworks show to be cancelled.

Somehow, I kind of doubt that would be the case... Unless maybe they give everyone a pearl demo and a copy of 3.0b1. That I can see.

I wish I coulda' gone to the meet. I figured I'm not "hard core" enough just yet.

Yes, a 3.0 beta would be nice. Then I could sink my teeth in about all the unimportant menu controls that bugged me about 2.0. I wish they'd kept the 1.03 Funnel Web vis too. But, I'll save my gripes for after 3.0b1.
