So I am trying to get things set up on a new computer and it's been ages since I ran into these types of problems (and thus have forgotten everything)...

When I plug in my Rio through the USB port I get the Windows "Install new hardware driver" dialogue box. I thought that once you had installed Emplode that windows would know that emplode was associated with the Rio Car (or something like that).
Anyway, I have Emplode opened up, power-up my Rio Car...the "install new hardware" dialogue box comes up, and in the background I get the Emplode software searching & searching (but not finding) a player database.

Is there a driver I need to install...or how do I solve this problem?

Was doing an install over a couple days and forgot I had read that.
