Any ideas - I get a really bad reception from my tuner module now (as of 2 weeks ago) Lots of static, crackles & pops - some days it has no reception at all.
Although this sounds like the FAQ item with dodgy connectors/wiring, I don't believe it is, because I swapped my module with a known working one & the other module worked fine.
I've checked for obvious bad joints & can't see anything wrong.
Maybe the crystal has died?

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them....

Craig

You've probably got a faulty opamp chip in the tuner module. Contact Rob Schofield for a reapir. [email protected].

Did anyone ever post a pic of the dry solder joint problem in the tuner? I can't find the original thread but it was mentioned that my FM output may have this problem and someone was going to post a pic.

Well, it's been almost a month after emailing [email protected], and I've had no response - does anyone know if this is the right address for support?
(I've been away for a couple of weeks, so haven't been able to chase it untill now)
cheers,
Craig

Unfortunately Rob has had other things on his mind over the last several weeks. I don't think he will be doing much car support right now, but I'm sure he'll post when he's back on the case.
