This morning I got a call at about 8:30. The mayor was doing a 9/11 remembrance ceremony and the CD player wouldn't play the disc they had of taps. Being the "get it done" guy at the city, they figured I was the guy to call since it HAD to be working by 9:00. Unfortunately, I was 20 minutes away. So, I grabbed the copy of taps that I had on my PC, dumped it on the empeg, and drove like mad to the lakefront (where the 9/11 monument and ceremony was). Hooked it up in 10 seconds, at 8:58. Keep in mind this was going out live on the local news. Everything went off flawlessly. Anyway, thanks EMPEG guys, it wouldn't have happened otherwise. Now the mayors assisntant really wants an empeg.
