Since I trashed my other toy two years ago (without a insurance), it took me awhile to restore my economy... But now I'm back! Watch out! :-)

But how do I mount my empeg there? :-)

Hmmm, any space under the rear seat? Then there, add a remote serial mini display in the instrument cluster somehow...
Then mount the remote + eye for an IR-extender somewhere reachable when stopped at lights...

Oops. The clip is no longer there... Can't find it on the web site either. Did anyone see it?

It's a hostage guy in Spain that asked for an R1 in exchange for the hostages. He took off on the bike and was blocked by a cop car -> crashed the bike and flipped over the car doing two full revolutions in the air. Was pretty crazy.

That would be really cool, but what about the speakers?
Maybe I should've bought a goldwing instead... :-)

I will try to be carefull, the last crash was at the race track so it wasnt that bad...

Ahh, would love a newer bike, but when the insurance is about $3500-4000/year for that fireblade(for me) I will have to wait - or sell the car... :-/

Well, a Goldwing would have offered a lot more room (you could get the trailer or side car and put the sub in... ), but I suspect it would not be as much fun...

For speakers you could plug in headphones directly to the RCA outs, or go through a small headphone amp...

Nice new toy. I'm sure it won't be new for very long though since you have two years of riding to make up for.

From my experience, a Karma works out decently on a motorcycle. You just need to set it to play a long shuffled playlist ahead of time, and tuck the unit inside a pocket on your jacket. Mine has one that I can easially feel for the Karma through a vent pocket and manipulate the volume and the nub to skip tracks/pause playback. The rumored snowboarder mode would make this a tad easier, or a remote I could hang somewhere outside my jacket.

But it is nice to have long rides with the karma. I'm just hoping it was a failing hard drive that caused my first karma to die on a ride, and not a problem overall with having a hard drive player atop an engine reving 6,000 RPM at higher speeds.

Ah, nice to know!
But after this buy - the karma has to wait, if I dont want to live on water for the rest of the year... :-)

I've tried my minidisc but it didnt like the vibrations that the wind make...

The weather is great outside, but I dont have the fireblade here yet (not until wendsday) - the wait is killing me... :-/
