Hi.

In the spirit of both generosity and wanting to get some room back, I'm offering a special deal for Christmas on tuner kits. The next twenty-five orders (that is, order numbers 352 to 377 inclusive), or until midnight GMT the 18th, whichever comes first, will be £110 including shipping. This is a potential saving of up to £20. Just place the order via the website as per normal. Shipping will be from stock, more or less immediately.

Addendum to the tuner offer: Due to complete lack of likely future orders, I have decided to finish the current batch of 100, which means only 33 more kits, then stop. I am currently attempting to sell off the other 100 tuner modules I have at something approaching cost, and that will be the end of the tuner kit. So if you want one, now would be a good time.

A huge amount of effort just to break even? That sounds familar.

Yeah, that sucks. I was hoping he'd at least made enough to buy a new toy or two.

Patrick, thanks once again for all the effort and time that you expended on this venture. It really is appreciated by those of us who were previously tuner-less.

Ah, too bad. I'm one of those who ordered a while back and then cancelled the order. I had found another tuner meanwhile, did not have much money to spend on "unnecessary" toys, and I was assuming I'd make somebody else very very happy. If this is the situation, I am now reconsidering purchasing one, if not to use it soon, at least to keep it as an empeg memorabilia (and as a replacemente in case of need).

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait a little bit, since I have to face some expenses in the near future. Meanwhile I too wanted to publicly thank PCA for his great contribution. Your tuner kits are just excellent, and made many of us happy!

Oh no, that's right, there's a "future" I have to accomodate for. I won't always be driving a car with a double-DIN enough for an empeg and a cheap AM/FM/CD like I am now.

Better get one now in case I am ever stuck with an odd dash that can't accomodate the second head unit. Ah, and maybe I could always use it attached to my home docking station to replace my old Technics radio+amp. Just run an antenna wire out the nearest window?

I just received my tuner in the mail, it should keep me busy over the holiday break. Thanks for making this product, even though it sounds as if it didn't work too well for you financially, I definately appreciate your effort.
